Amazon Prime Video and IMDb TV have announced a panel for Comic-Con @ Home, the online fan convention taking place July 23-25.

The Amazon and IMDb TV panel will take place on July 23 and will cover five upcoming shows coming up on the streaming services. Starting with the highly anticipated fantasy, The Wheel of Time, the panel will also cover the final chapter of Evangelion’s theatrical editions, the TV adaptation of I Know What You Did Last Summer, and more.

See official panel details from Amazon Prime Video and IMDb TV below, which will start at 11 a.m. PT on Friday, July 23. It will be hosted by Tim Kash and is expected to deliver new announcements.

Amazon’s Wheel of Time Cast

The wheel of time

The first segment of the panel will feature The Wheel of Time, with a chat with showrunner Rafe Judkins. This epic fantasy story presents a world where magic is limited to certain women and follows the story of Moiraine, a member of a powerful all-female organization called Aes Sedai. Moiraine sets out on a journey with a group of men and women, one of whom is prophesied to become the savior or destroyer of humanity.

Evangelion: 3.0 + 1.01 Once upon a time

The second segment will focus on the fourth and final chapter of Evangelion’s theatrical editions and feature a conversation with the series’ writer and general manager, Hideaki Anno. Known as the Rebuild of Evangelion, the four-movie series tells the original story of the Neon Genesis Evangelion anime, in which a teenage mecha pilot named Shinji Ikari battles mysterious creatures called Angels. This final entry, Once Upon a Time, will complete the story. The series has been in development for over a decade, with the first film launching in Japan in 2007. The fourth launched in Japan in March and will be available on Amazon Prime Video on August 13.

Leverage effect: buyout

A cover of the original 2008 Leverage TV show, Leverage: Redemption is an action crime drama on IMDb TV. The first eight episodes air on July 9, and series stars and directors Beth Riesgraf and Noah Wyle will be at Comic-Con @ Home to discuss these episodes and perhaps tease what’s still to come later this year in the eight next episodes of the series.

SOZ soldiers or zombies

The penultimate segment of the panel will cover the soldiers or zombies of SOZ and feature showrunner Nico Entel. This Mexican show centers on drug lord Alonso Marroquin, who must fight for his survival against a police unit that has been transformed into enhanced zombies with special abilities, due to the US military’s experience with mini pigs.

i know what you did last summer

A modern take on the 1997 horror film and based on the original 1973 novel by Lois Duncan, I Know What You Did Last Summer follows a group of teenagers being hunted down by a mysterious killer. The panel will feature showrunner Sara Goodman.

Comic-Con International: San Diego canceled its 2021 convention in March due to precautions regarding hosting an in-person event during the pandemic. As with last year’s SDCC, the physical convention is replaced by a virtual Comic-Con @ Home, with a variety of panels covering fan-favorite topics, from TV and movies to comics, publishing. , toys and much more.
