Amber Heard has revealed that she welcomed her first child through a surrogate mother.

The 35-year-old actress took to Instagram to share a photo of herself cradling her daughter with a long caption about wanting to have a child on her own terms.

She captioned the snap to her 3.9 million subscribers: “I’m so excited to share this news with you. Four years ago, I decided I wanted to have a child. I wanted to do it. on my own terms.

Paige’s middle name appears to be a tribute to her late mother Paige Heard, who passed away in May 2020.

According to Page Six on Thursday, sources close to Heard say she welcomed the child through a surrogate after learning she could never carry her own baby.
