It is not a lamp but a teapot. And it is a dragon who comes out of it, and not a genius… Although not original, this 3D story of a poor suitor attracted by a princess and offering himself the services of a spirit has a beautiful fantasy. Starting from 7 years old.

A penniless teenager tries to reconnect with his childhood friend thanks to the genius of a magic teapot: the touching feeling that Din, a young boy from the poor districts of Shanghai, has for Lina, a rich girl who has become the muse of a watch brand, serves as a common thread in this animated film, modern and alert.

Kind of Chinese remake Aladdin or the wonderful lamp in 3D computer-generated images, this adventure situates its plot in a half-futuristic, half-traditional Shanghai. The lamp has turned into a pretty teapot and falls into Din’s hands. To find Lina, the young hero lets himself be carried away by the dragon-genius who comes out of the teapot. Candy pink, with a purple mane and a fluffy coat like felt, the creature has the ability to grant wishes but also to attract disasters: gangsters want to recover the magic teapot and are on its heels. Rude and grumpy, the dragon hates public transport, traffic jams and lovers! Over the course of the vows granted, he made Din a kung fu ace, a modern prince for a day and ultimately a good and selfless person.
