A singing babysitter has been dubbed a true Disney Princess after her stunning rendition of Part of Your World from The Little Mermaid movie went viral on TikTok.
Delaney Wilson, 18, of Somerset, Massachusetts, was secretly filmed singing the lyrics to the Disney song as she played Barbie dolls with Nicki Maher’s daughter. Courtesy of the teenager, Maher, 43, posted the sweet video to TikTok, where it quickly went viral.
“He’s our babysitter,” Maher whispered at the start of the clip, which has been viewed more than 12.1 million times since June 21.

The mother told Fox News she was aware of her babysitter’s incredible voice, explaining that a friend of her taught Wilson at the local school and mentioned how talented she was.
“I’m trying to encourage him to make his voice heard more,” Maher captioned the video of Wilson singing.
“But she gets discouraged about the way she looks in her videos. And all I see is beauty. My children too. Let’s show her some love so I can blackmail her more for us !!!

Nearly 100,000 people commented on the footage, many praising Wilson for his immense talent – something the teenager needed to hear after battling the negative reviews she received online about her singing .

The mother-of-two told Fox News she previously asked the teenager why she wasn’t posting more videos of her singing on social media.
“That’s when she said to me, ‘I think about it too much and I never feel like I sound good enough and I don’t always feel confident in my appearance,’ she recalls, “And it broke my heart.”
Wilson told Fox News that she received “a lot of negative comments” about her voice and character, which affected her confidence.
“I was definitely holding back after a very difficult year,” she said.
