Barack and Michelle Obama announced on Wednesday June 2 the upcoming release of their new children’s series We The People, of which they are the producers. This program of 10 episodes, “combines music and animation” and aims to educate young Americans about civic education in their country.
This series intended for children, includes original songs performed by artists such as HER, Janelle Monáe, Brandi Carlile, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Adam Lambert, Bebe Rexha, Andra Day and poet Amanda Gorman, the platform said on its Twitter account.
We The People aims “to educate a new generation of young Americans on basic American civic education,” Netflix said in its statement. The series will be broadcast from July 7. To wait, the trailer for this colorful series is already available.
