“I would like to think about doing something about it. I don’t understand how so many people can be on the streets.”

On Wednesday, actor Colin Farrell made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! for a funny interview that quickly took a very serious turn.

During the conversation with guest host Wanda Sykes, Colin shared his thoughts on the current homeless crisis in Los Angeles.

“Roaming here. It’s pretty hard to see,” he said. “It’s pretty hard to see. I do not understand. Am I doing something about it right now? No, “he shared.” I would like to think about doing something about it. I don’t understand how so many people can be on the streets.

Some people have questioned what they should think of its response to the crisis.

This person commented that they have “mixed feelings” about their response.

Colin Farrell crying over roaming while saying he’s not doing anything about it and acknowledging how lucky he is gives me such mixed feelings. As someone who has experienced homelessness, I urge YOU to get involved in your community rather than just getting lost in

However, not everyone had negative feelings about it. Some were happy to see such an important public figure speak out on such an important issue.

One person said that his response gave him hope for the future of our country.

Seeing Colin Farrell become moved by the number of homeless people in America on @jimmykimmel tonight gives me hope for humanity.

Another fan said he had a “heart of gold” for doing this.

Seeing #ColinFarrell get moved by talking about the homeless really struck me. He’s a heart of gold, and I love him so much for that. #JimmyKimmellLive

While Colin may not be taking action right now, he has, in the past, made efforts to address the homelessness crisis. Over the years, he has partnered with the Homeless World Cup Foundation.

Thanks to Colin Farrell for speaking out about homelessness in Los Angeles and for your support over the years❤️ When you’re homeless it’s easy to feel invisible, please ask people to take note. #ColinFarrell @IamWandaSykes #Kimmel https://t.co/dYhSsjNoij

No matter the reaction, something tells me that Colin is going to keep fighting the good fight.
