Netflix has decided to put its Grand Army resting. The teen drama was canceled after just one season yesterday by the streaming platform. Joey Del Marco (Odessa A’zion), Dominique “Dom” Pierre (Odley Jean), Siddhartha “Sid” Pakam (Amir Bageria) and their classmates will not be entitled to a season 2.

Grand Army was released last October and was well received, especially by the target audience. Loosely based on the work of series creator Katie Cappiello and her play titled Slut: The Play (2006), this uncompromising teen Netflix series followed 5 students from Brooklyn’s largest public high school grappling with their sexuality, their differences, the view of others, and social pressure.
