To celebrate the life of its founder, Halston is teaming up with Netflix to create a collection of dresses inspired by the hit series. On the program: eleven glamorous evening outfits imagined from archival drawings by the designer and costumes from the mini-series. Each model is named after one of the muses of the American fashion designer. Thus, the “Beverly” dress, an asymmetrical model in silk chiffon, refers to actress Beverly Johnson, the blue kaftan with seventies print “Elsa” to Elsa Peretti and the dress in silk muslin and gold lurex “Liza”, to singer Liza Minelli. A nice tribute.
