HBO Game of thrones prequel has added two more cast members, and the official description of their roles suggests new information on the timeline of the highly anticipated fantasy series.

Dragon house threw Milly Alcock (Account, Gloaming) as the younger version of Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen. Described as “the king’s firstborn, she is of pure Valyrian blood and a dragon rider.” Many would say that Rhaenyra was born with everything… but she was not born a man. The adult version of the character is played by Emma D’Arcy in the series.

The series also cast Emily Carey (Victim) as the younger version of Alicent Hightower, “the daughter of Otto Hightower, the Hand of the King, and the most comely woman of the Seven Kingdoms. She was raised in the Red Keep, near the king and his inner circle; she possesses both a courteous grace and a keen sense of politics. Fun fact: Carey also played young Diana in 2017 Wonder woman. The adult version of the character is played by Olivia Cooke in the series.

Since the roles are listed as recurring, this suggests that the show might regularly have flashbacks to a time period before it did before. If so, the narrative device is somewhat unique in the world of Obtained, as the flagship show has only used flashbacks a handful of times in its eight seasons.

Here are all of the previously announced actors and their official role descriptions:

Paddy considine like King Viserys Targaryen, chosen by the Lords of Westeros to succeed the Old King, Jaehaerys Targaryen, on the High Council of Harrenhal. A warm, kind and honest man, Viserys only wishes to carry on the legacy of his grandfather. But good men don’t necessarily make great kings.

Olivia Cooke as Alicante Hightower, the daughter of Otto Hightower, the Hand of the King, and the most comely woman of the Seven Kingdoms. She was brought up in the Red Keep, near the king and his inner circle; she possesses both a courteous grace and a keen sense of politics.

Emma D’Arcy as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, the king’s firstborn, she is of pure Valyrian blood, and a dragon rider. Many would say that Rhaenyra was born with everything… but she was not born a man.

As the ‘Serpent of the Seas’, the most famous nautical adventurer in Westeros history, Lord Corlys has made his house a mighty seat even richer than that of the Lannisters and claiming the largest navy in the world.

Rhys Ifans as Otto Hightower, The hand of the king, Ser Otto loyally and faithfully serves both his king and his kingdom. According to the Hand, the greatest threat to the kingdom is the king’s brother, Daemon, and his position as heir to the throne.

Sonoya Mizuno as Mysaria, Mysaria came to Westeros with nothing, sold more times than she remembers. She could have faded… but instead, she became the most reliable – and unlikely – ally of Prince Daemon Targaryen, the heir to the throne.
