During its Geeked Week, Netflix gave news of the Carlton Cruse: Locke & Key series and gives us an appointment in October for season 2.

There were plenty of announcements yesterday at Netflix’s second Geeked Week conference. The platform gave us news of Sandman, an adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s eponymous graphic novels. This edition, devoted to series and films inspired by comics, also highlighted the universe of Joe Hill. More than a year after its first season, the Locke & Key series is preparing its comeback. Netflix has gathered the cast to finally lift the veil on the broadcast date of this second round of episodes. The whole Locke family will meet us next October. The platform did not miss the opportunity to share new images that announce the introduction of new characters and the return of the main antagonist.

On the plot side, we should find Dodge in his insatiable quest for the mysterious keys to power. The character, now in Gabe’s shoes, would have to continue scheming against the Locke family to achieve his goal. The siblings’ uncle, Duncan Locke, seems to discover the terrible secret behind the mansion. As a reminder, if he saw the keys in action when he was a teenager, his brother Rendell erased his memory thanks to one of them.

A third season on the program

The cast of the Carlton Cuse series will feature Darby Stanchfield, Connor Jessup, Emilia Jones and Jackson Robert Scott respectively in the roles of Nina, Tyler, Kinsey and Bode Locke. Aaron Ashmore and Petrice Jones will play Duncan Locke and Scot Cavendish, respectively. Gabe / Dodge will be played by Griffin Gluck. For information, a third season has already been ordered and a crossover is planned by Netflix. The adventure is therefore far from over.
