This was for example the case for Lucifer, saved by Netflix after being canceled by FOX after 3 seasons or for Brooklyn nine-nine, canceled by FOX then resumed by NBC. After the announcement of the end of Manifest, the producers therefore kept a hope of bringing the series back: this weekend, we learned that Netflix was potentially interested. It won’t have lasted long …

Manifest will not have season 4

According to TVLine, Manifest will not have season 4: after the cancellation of the series by NBC, the negotiations of the producers and of several platforms would not have led to a positive result, specifies the site. The potential sequel is therefore now no more than an unattainable dream since nobody wanted to save the series which gathered every week only about 3 million viewers in the US. As a reminder, the creator had confided to have a plan over 6 seasons to unveil all the mysteries of the show. Bad luck, it is on a cliffhanger that the series ends.

The actors react

Sad news for the fans but also for the actors. After this announcement, several stars of the series reacted like Josh Dallas (Ben). “I’m sorry to tell you that this is the end for now. We are so proud to have brought this story to you for 3 seasons. We hoped to be able to complete this adventure but it was not in the plans“the actor wrote. As for Melissa Roxburgh (Michaela) she posted:”Thanks to our showrunner Jeff Rake and our producers for giving us these roles. I will forever cherish the times when we laughed, cried, talked (…) I spent some of the best days of my life on the set of ManifestLuna Blaise (Olive) also reacted.
