Netflix launched Thursday a first online store to sell derivative products related to the series of the very popular streaming platform. Its virtual shelves include, to begin with, T-shirts and sweatshirts stamped Yasuke and Eden, two animated series. It will also soon offer clothing and decorative objects inspired by the gentleman burglar Lupine, designed in collaboration with the Louvre, according to a press release from the Californian group. Five months after becoming one of the big hits of 2021, “Lupine” returns to the screens on Friday, much to the relief of fans worried about the fate of their hero. “Netflix.shop will be offering exclusive, carefully selected limited edition products on a regular basis,” said Vice President Josh Simon. The sales site will be extended to countries other than the United States in the coming months, he said.
