The summer doldrums? Not at Netflix. Next month, the streaming giant also surprises with exciting new series and movies, including a good chunk of anime.

Over the past few years, Netflix has grown into one of the leading providers of anime streaming. It is therefore not surprising that its catalog will be enriched again with several Japanese series and films in July 2021. In the foreground: the last season of the Pokémon universe, in which Ash Ketchum and Pikachu make the Galar region little safe.

Other new additions include the sequel to Beastars and the fantasy series Sword Art Online: Alicization. On the film side, summer romantic drama Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop, which is already visually compelling in its first trailer, is among the releases.
