Guillermo del Toro will offer a conclusion to his series Troll Hunters: Tales of Arcadia. The platform gives us an appointment on July 21 for this new feature film.
Netflix can claim to attract Hollywood’s most bankable directors. After Martin Scorsese, Zack Snyder and Alfonso Cuarón, the platform collaborates with Guillermo del Toro. The filmmaker behind Pan’s Labyrinth and The shape of water will make a new foray into the animation side with Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans. Continuation of the series broadcast in 2016, this new feature film will close the saga produced by Dreamworks. During the Annecy festival, dedicated to animation productions from around the world, the platform released a first trailer full of action and well-felt valves.
Arcadia, a seemingly ordinary small town, sits at the center of magical and mystical lines that make it the scene of many battles between creatures from another world, called trolls, aliens and wizards. In this new epic, the heroes of the series Troll hunters, The Trio from elsewhere and Mages and Sorcerers must unite to face a new enemy who has vowed to conquer the worlds of Arcadia.
Directed by Andrew L. Schmidt, Johane Matte and Francisco Ruiz Velasco, the platform’s new feature film was written by Guillermo del Toro. Behind the microphone, we will find Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead) as Steve, Alfred Molina (Spider-man 2) in that of Archie and Nick Offerman (Parks and Recreation) who will play Vex. Nick Frost (Shaun of the Dead) will lend his voice to Stuart.
Netflix gives us an appointment July 21 for Troll hunters: awakening of the titans. Until then, you can still see or replay Troll Hunters: Tales of Arcadia on the platform. The Trio from elsewhere as well as Mages and Sorcerers are also available.
