Nick Cannon is speaking for the first time since his girlfriend Alyssa Scott gave birth to their seventh child, a baby boy named Zen, last week.

The 40-year-old TV personality, who has fathered four newborns in the past six months with three different women, insists none of the pregnancies were an accident.

“I don’t have an accident,” Cannon said on his Power 106 radio show Wednesday, adding that “there are a lot of people I could have gotten pregnant with when I didn’t. made”.

He continued, “The ones who got pregnant are the ones who were supposed to get pregnant.”

Earlier on the show, the former America’s Got Talent host joked his co-host that he was “like a seahorse in here.” It’s just my way of procreating.

Cannon officially became a father of seven on June 23, when his current alleged girlfriend, Alyssa Scott, gave birth to a baby boy.

Alyssa shared the news on her Instagram account on Saturday night, revealing that they named the child Zen.

The news makes Nick, 40, the father of three newborns, as his ex-girlfriend Abby De La Rosa welcomed their twins on June 14.

Alyssa shared the news with a cute set of photos of her from behind as she cradled little Zen, who was wrapped in a blanket in her arms.

The little boy seemed to be dozing, and he already had thick hair.

Alyssa shared a mix of stylish black and white photos and color snapshots to share the news.

She was dressed smartly for the low-key photoshoot in a backless black dress, with her hair styled in a messy bun to show off her dangling earrings.

Another black-and-white snap showed her stroking her heavily pregnant belly in a silk dress for a mirror selfie.

“I will love you forever – 6/23/21,” she captioned the post, adding the baby’s date of birth.

A color version of the photos in his Insta stories added that his name was Zen.

Nick had announced Alyssa’s pregnancy in a previous Instagram post on her own account, which she reposted on her Insta Stories for Father’s Day.

“I’m celebrating you today,” she captioned the photo of Nick reaching from behind her to fondle her pregnant belly as she leaned against a rocky outcrop on a beach.

Alyssa first announced her pregnancy in May, but it wasn’t until her Father’s Day post that she confirmed that the host of Wild ‘N Out was the father.

Alyssa’s post received a torrent of congratulations from her subscribers.

Little is known about Nick’s relationship with Alyssa, although they were seen at the famous Nobu celebrity spot in October 2020.

In May, she called him “a player” in a social media exchange, suggesting he was not engaged, although things seem to be going better between the two now.

But Nick will have his hands full with their child, as he has two more babies born a few days earlier.

On June 14, his ex-girlfriend Abby De La Rosa, 30, gave birth to twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir.

Abby wrote on Instagram: “Our dearest sons: my miracle babies. Thank you for choosing me to be your mom. I know that the Lord intended me and prepared me for the gift of not one but two little angels …

The twins arrived less than six months after her ex Brittany Bell gave birth to a daughter named Powerful Queen, now six months old, in late December.

The couple also share an eldest son named Golden, who is three years old.

Nick once joked that he didn’t want to use contraceptives in a Howard Stern interview in 2017, so he might not be up against even more children in the future.

After speaking about his battle with the autoimmune disease of lupus, he said, “I’m probably going to die sooner than most people… so let’s screw up all night!” So why wear condoms? I may not be here tomorrow! ‘

The TV host was diagnosed with the disease in 2012 and was hospitalized for it in 2016.

In an interview with The Sun in June, Nick’s father James suggested his son’s many children were in part due to his anti-abortion beliefs.
