One of the TV series inspired by Capcom’s horror franchise, specifically the live-action one (live action) which looks at the Wesker family, revealed this Friday a first section of its distribution, as part of Netflix’s Geeked Week event.
In doing so, we learn in particular that it is the American actor Lance Reddick, who we saw among others in John wick, The Wire and Fringe, who will play the good old villain Albert Wesker. He will be joined by Ella Balinsks, Tamara Smart, Siena Agudong, Adeline Rudolph and Paola Nunez.
The series, which still has no name, was announced last August and is to follow the story of Jade and Billie Wesker, who are, from what we deduce, the daughters of Albert, before and after. may humanity be forever shaken by the T-virus.
The script for the eight hour-long episodes will be written by Andrew Dabb (supernatural). Bronwen Hughes (The Walking Dead, breaking Bad, Better call saul) must carry out the first two parts of the series.
Recall that Netflix is also developing an animated series from the Capcom franchise, Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, which is due to land on the on-demand service on July 8 and will feature Claire Redfield and Leon Kennedy.
A reboot of resident Evil At the movie theater, Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, is also in particular in preparation and should arrive on the big screen on November 24th.
