Downton abbey , one of the first series to air on Netflix, had disappeared for several years because it was broadcast on Prime Video, PBS Passport, BritBox, Peacock. It returns in full from August 15 on the famous streaming platform. With its finest letters (of nobility), Netflix shared the announcement on Twitter.

The series, created by Julian Fellowes, takes place at the beginning of the 20th century at Downton Abbey, an English castle in Yorkshire, England. It chronicles the life of a fictional English aristocratic family, the Crawleys and their servants, over six seasons. The series, awarded multiple times, will therefore be available on Netflix this summer: enough to discover or review this period drama.
