CBS released the cast for Big Brother 23 during the first week of July, revealing the 16 new guests who would compete for the grand prize of $ 500,000. Many fans quickly took a liking to professional dancer and swimsuit model Christie Valdiserri, with some choosing her from their fantastic teams to win the title. However, days before the premiere, the network reportedly removed her from the cast and quickly added another cast member.
Christie Valdiserri originally appeared in the cast of “Big Brother 23”
When CBS unveiled the highly anticipated cast of Big Brother 23, it included 27-year-old professional dancer Christie Valdiserri based in North Hollywood, California.
Describing herself as “determined, energetic and passionate” in her casting biography, she planned to use her intuition, ability to connect with others, and competitive wins to make it to the last two seats.

Plus, Christie wanted to play a fair game as she named it BB16 Derrick Levasseur and Cody Calafiore his favorite duo because of their allegiance to each other.
She also brought up Haleigh Broucher telling Bayleigh Dayton about her hacking power in BB20 as one of his favorite moments, mainly because of the loyalty he has shown.
She would have been moved at the last minute
July 4, a few days before the premiere of Big Brother 23, the Hamster Watch spoiler account reported that someone from the cast would be replaced before the end of the day.
The account later named Christie, one of the early fan favorites, as the replaced guest, noting that Claire would take her place. CBS has yet to recognize the most recent actor or release any information about him.
Still, HamsterWatch claimed the network would release a statement regarding the last-minute change tomorrow, July 5. Ahead of the official casting reveal, another alleged guest, Garrett Smyles, appeared on the CBS website as part of a leak, alongside Derek Xiao, Brandon “Frenchie” French and Hannah Chaddha.
While the others are still in the cast, Garrett has disappeared, apparently replaced by Christian Birkenberger. The network did not recognize the change.
Fans react to Christie’s reported withdrawal
The Big Brother Network fan website noted that the Philadelphia native is a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model who is also verified on Instagram, leading them and many viewers to believe that the casting producers l ‘have recruited.
Despite this, the website underscored her competitive spirit and called her the most likely to “finally create a successful female alliance”.
Big Brother Twitter also reacted to the news, with one viewer admitting he was “disappointed” she would not compete and “hoped” that she did not get the last minute cup because of something serious.

On the flip side, a few users pointed out her alleged recruiting status as a reason they didn’t want to see her in the house. However, many fans are happy with her purported replacement, Claire, with one user noting that they were impressed with its gameplay in a live reality game.
She would also be a BB and Survivor superfan. Big Brother 23 premieres July 7 at 8/7 Central on CBS.
