EXCLUSIVE: Fans of Top Rated Cable TV Shows Yellowstone who are used to following the Dutton clan every summer will have to keep their horses for Season 4. Deadline learns that the show has officially left the warm season slot it occupied for its first three seasons. While no one is confirming a solid start date, I’ve heard that they are considering the start of the new season of the Paramount Network series in early November. It will join the launch lane for most prestige returns and must-see shows, when eyeballs are optimized and Yellowstone has the chance to cross-promote on CBS’s NFL shows, with a season running over the holidays.

Jacki Weaver will join the cast for season 4, who will play Caroline Warner, the CEO of Market Equities who is trying to crush John Dutton (Kevin Costner) ‘s hold on his sprawling Montana ranch. Everyone Who Watched Weaver In His Groundbreaking Film Animal Kingdom can see the possibilities. Paramount Network will air a July 4 weekend marathon of each previous episode starting Saturday, July 3 at 12:00 p.m., including teasers for the upcoming season. The series is co-produced by 101 Studios, co-created by Taylor Sheridan and John Linson, and executive producers include John Linson, Art Linson, Taylor Sheridan, Kevin Costner, David C. Glasser, Bob Yari and Stephen Kay.

Additionally, Deadline learns that 1883, the Paramount + prequel series that tells the story of the Dutton family’s journey west from poverty to the Promised Land of Montana, will begin production in late summer in Texas. The spin-off series tells the story of Manifest Destiny which brought settlers seeking to escape poverty into conflict with the Native Americans who lived in the unspoiled plains.

In Yellowstone, it’s ranch patriarch John Dutton who tries to hold back a contemporary version of Manifest Destiny, pushing aside real estate speculators who want to develop its pristine Montana acreage. By the end of Season 3, his quest seemed more perilous than ever, as the question was open whether Dutton or his children Beth (Kelly Reilly) and Kayce (Luke Grimes) would survive even at the start of Season 4.

The push to November means that Yellowstone diehards will have to wait a little longer to find out. You will remember – Spoiler alert – the season ended with John Dutton sitting by the side of the road after being shot by assassins, rescued when a bullet hit the smartphone in his shirt pocket. Beth’s office was set on fire with her in it, and Kayce had just returned her office and was exchanging gunshots with several assassins. And adopted son Jamie (Wes Bentley) told Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) to stop calling him, after the ranch chief (and Beth’s fiance) desperately tried to locate the missing members of the Dutton clan. as all hell broke loose. Were the attacks launched by the financial killers behind the buyout firm Market Equities? Was it Jamie Dutton, after rekindling a relationship with the biological father who murdered his mother? Or even Thomas Rainwater, the principled tribal chief and casino owner who had just been provoked by an adviser to overthrow Dutton and take his land?
